The Desktop Project:

The MacrOS Linux project has delivered to the open
source community a customized distribution of Linux for utility
computing, namely the desktop.

This is the MacrOS Linux Desktop, a customization of KNOPPIX.

Let GNU/Linux reign among the computer-challenged, teachers,
young students and, heck, those who would better spend their money elsewhere.

BTW, we really do not believe one should have buy an operating system or web
browser.

In any case, no one should be blocked from basic computing because they do not have
the funds, or due to needless complexity.

You do not need to be a computer-whiz to use our software. You do not need money for
our GNU/Linux distribution. Get any old clunker of a PC with a CD drive,
and you are good to go!
